My mom shared this song with me (and my siblings)...I am flattered that she thought of us..listening to the lyrics got my heart thinking about C and B and how much they mean to me...and how much others who God has blessed my life with, mean to me.

My husband and I began the adventure of parenthood this spring as we were blessed by the arrival of our precious little guy, "B".
Our son's middle name,"B" is in honor of some special members in our family.
I find myself being continually humbled since B's arrival, humbled in ways that I never would have or could have anticipated. This is why I am setting off to document and share some lessons I am learning through my new role as a mom. I want to commit to being transparent as I share my personal experiences of motherhood.
Being a new mom is quite an adventure...it has it's mountain top moments and other moments where it feels like you are in a valley all alone... it is an adventure that I by no means have figured out or conquered...as I am sure you will read about in future posts... but an adventure that I know will refine me and our family in ways that I will be eternally grateful.
I don't take this adventure lightly...I want to leave a legacy for our family...the task before my husband and I is great, but with the Lord's grace...we gratefully and joyfully press on! Remembering...
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward." Colossians 3:23
